Street Kat is the first known specialist company in the United Kingdom to provide the general public with extensive training in two vital areas when learning to drive; the Theory Test and Hazard Perception Test. We are not a driving school; we are strictly a Theory Test training company.

What we cover on our course?

We cover what you really need. We intensively cover:

  • All the techincal words/ terminology’s / technical terms / technical side
  • All the mechanical words / areas
  • All the mathmatic areas
  • Most complicated questions\areas
  • Most confusing questions\areas
  • Most misleading questions
  • Most problematic questions\areas
  • Common fail areas
  • Hard to remember areas

However we dont cover:

  • Common sense
  • Road attitude
  • Road safety learnt as a child, in school or as a pedestrian
  • Road safety learnt as a passenger in a car or from wacthing someone drive
  • Road safety learnt as a cyclist or on a school cycle traing lessons.
  • Basic first aid and safety learnty from childhood onwards
  • Very basic road signs

 

How will we implement our training?

We progress on to different areas of both the Theory Test and Hazard Perception Test using a variety of teaching methods including the use of visual aids like:

  • Video
  • Photo
  • Live illustrations
  • Use of models
  • Role play
  • Group work

To name a few, which ensure that you are constantly engaged in the information they need to process. Another plus point is that we use primary sources to convey this information across to the students, as all our course lecturers are our very own DSA Approved Instructors.

 

Is the course enough?

Once you have complicated the course. You will have a small amount of home work todo and then you are ready togo OR you can do our Day 2 course called the “Plus Course”

Why are we offering this service?

There is a general consensus that driving is something that you learn through practical experience and there is not enough emphasis placed on the most imperative aspect of all; PREPARATION. People who are looking forward to learning how to drive often oversee the importance of pre-educating themselves on aspects such as safety and awareness. Considering a pass in both the Theory Test and the Hazard Perception test are compulsory requirements, PREPARATION is key.

Our aim is to provide advanced insight to the different areas of the Theory Test and Hazard Perception Test to ensure that pupils feel confident in the areas that each test covers. This in turn will help with practical driving and safety and contribute to securing better drivers on our roads.
